Questions parents ask

Is it safe? Yes. It prints at ≤ 40°C with low-temperature, non-toxic filament, so the tip is warm to the touch rather than hot. We'd still sit with a younger child for the first session or two, as you would with any craft tool.

What age is it for? Six to twelve is the sweet spot. Younger children do well tracing the templates with an adult alongside; older ones quickly move past them and start inventing.

What if filament stops coming out? Usually a small piece left in the tip. With the pen warm, clear it with the cleaning needle included in the box.

How long does the charge last? Long enough for a full creative session. Charge over USB between projects.

Can I buy more filament? Yes — the 20-colour, 100-metre pack is available on its own.
